Job DescriptionQuality Engineer Problem Resolution TeamDerby/ HybridFull timeWhat you will be doing:An exciting opportunity have arisen for a Quality Engineer to join the Aerospace Procurement Problem Resolution Team.Responsibilities:In this role you will be working closely with our domestic and external supply chains to manage and prevent defects and to provide data and insight into the causes of non-quality across our external supply chain.Leading activities to effectively manage non-conformance and protect the supply chain from Quality escapesLeading cross functional teams to ensure that build protection strategies are implementedProvide support in our manufacturing facilities to implement the processes to protect the business against non-conformanceProvide coaching and support to the wider procurement organisation by sharing best practise across the organisation on management of non-conformanceCoaching and supporting problem-solving activities with the external supply chainProviding data and support to the supplier management teams to monitor and measure the performance and effectiveness of their external supply chain.Identifying opportunities to improve Quality and implementing plans to deliver that improvementWhy Rolls-RoyceIn this role you will play a key part in achieving our ambition of a true Zero Defects organisation aligned through our Operating principles of Assure Protect and Enable; Assuring compliance to our regulatory and management system requirements protecting the business by ensuring that non-conformance is manged safely with minimal customer disruption and ensuring the external supply chain conduct robust root cause this role you will be working closely with our domestic and external supply chains to manage escape and providing data and insight into the causes of non-quality across our external supply chain.We offer excellent development a competitive salary and exceptional benefits.
