School Receptionist - Secondary School in StockportImmediate Start | Competitive Salary

Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a professional and personable School Receptionist for a dynamic and supportive Secondary School in Stockport. This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving educational environment and play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the school's daily operations.

Role OverviewAs the first point of contact for students, staff, parents, and visitors, you will be responsible for delivering a warm and welcoming reception service, both in person and over the phone. You will also provide general administrative support to the school office, ensuring a high level of efficiency and organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acting as the school's front-of-house, managing enquiries and directing visitors.
  • Answering and transferring phone calls in a professional manner.
  • Assisting with day-to-day administrative duties, including data entry, filing, and responding to emails.
  • Ensuring safeguarding procedures are adhered to at all times.
  • Supporting staff with various administrative tasks as required.

Person SpecificationWe are looking for candidates who:

  • Have previous experience working as a receptionist or in a similar customer-facing role, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and friendly manner.
  • Are highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
  • Are proficient in using Microsoft Office and other basic IT systems.
  • Have a commitment to maintaining a safe and supportive school environment.
