Finatal is seeking a highly motivated Interim Head of FP&A to join a prestigious UK law firm. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in supporting the Group Finance Director (FD) and navigate the firm's commercial finance strategy.


What you'll do:

  • Partner with the Group FD to develop and implement the annual budget, forecasts, and business plan.
  • Lead the FP&A team in delivering accurate and insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee the budgeting process, ensuring timely and accurate data collection and analysis.
  • Leverage your expertise in Anaplan or a similar tool (Adaptive Insights etc.) to streamline financial planning and reporting.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across the firm.


What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience as an Interim Head of FP&A or similar senior role, ideally within a professional services environment.
  • A strong understanding of financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting principles.
  • Experience using Anaplan or a similar financial planning & analysis tool.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • A proactive and results-oriented approach with a keen eye for detail.
