This is a great opportunity for a GERMAN speaking SALES EXEC to work for a prestigious manufacturing business within the farming sector based in West Sussex. The business is highly profitable and you will support a field sales team that is based in Germany & Austria and for whom you would be appointment setting The role involves connecting with farmers and introducing the innovative new technology that will make their farms more productive and profitable. Full training is offered as is a structured career path into senior sales or marketing

TITLE : GERMAN Sales executive

TEAM: sales & marketing team

Salary : to £42,000 + OTE ( on year one this is likely to bring earnings to about £60,000 and could be much more as commissions are uncapped)

Sector : farm equipment

Location The English countryside around Arundel, West Sussex

Work style : Hybrid. 4 days in office. Friday as a half day and is also wfh

The business is highly profitable and you will support a field sales team that is based in Germany and Austria and for whom you would be appointment setting . In this role you will use your German daily and focus on building brand awareness in the DACH region, connecting with farm owners and introducing the innovative new technology that will make their farms more productive and profitable .

The company is dedicated to animal welfare and the new technology that you will introduce to a new audience , underpins this emphasis on care and also on sustainability

You will be working from a leads list of thousands of contacts, as well as from new leads coming in from Trade Shows and from general inbound enquiries . Full training is offered ( you will visit farms to see the technology in-action too)

Duties

  • Working from a leads list of thousands of farming-related contacts you will proactively Identify, qualify, and engage potential farm owners/clients across Germany and Austria
  • You will be working to targets of 10 appointments per week on behalf of the field sales team that is based in the DACH region ( this translates to about 30 outbound dials per day to farm owners)
  • Attend trade shows in Germany and the UK in order to building strong relationships with farmers, put a “ face to the name” and generate referrals
  • Work with the marketing team and create direct marketing campaigns to help support BD efforts

Requirements

  • Some experience in customer service or market research or classic lead generation ,
  • Fluent German ; other languages like Polish, Czech, Dutch, or Danish are useful
  • Own transport. The office is a 3 mile walk/drive or a cycle-ride from the station in the countryside
