Employment Solicitor - Associate - 2 to 5 years PQE - Global Law Firm - Glasgow (Hybrid)Are you an employment solicitor interested in taking the next step in your career? Do you want to work in one of the largest global employment practices with over 400 top employment lawyers working across multiple jurisdictions? This is an exciting opportunity to work for a top 50 global law firm where you will have the opportunity to work with some of the world's leading multi-national companies across retail, FMCG, transport to include some exciting household brands. This role would suit an experienced employment solicitor ideally 2 to 5 years PQE with previous experience working for a commercial law firm where you will have demonstrated previous experience of advisory and corporate support work. The ClientOur client is a leading top 50 global law firm who have operate in over 80 jurisdictions and work with some really impressive global, household names. They have won a number of awards as an employer and they are well known as having supportive partners and good work life balance. They can also offer clear career trajectories and have regular career check ins. The RoleThe role will involve a broad range of employment work to include advisory work on a broad range of employment matters, corporate support and employment litigation. Day to day this will include;Building and maintaining strong client relationships Advising on day to day employment law matters for clientsAdvise and lead on employment tribunal matters with clientsWork on large scale corporate support projects Get involved in business development initiatives within the firmYou will be Qualified Solicitor - Scotland/England & Wales 2 to 5 years PQE but there is scope either side for the right candidatePQE must include strong employment experience ideally working with respondent clients in a commercial law firmMust have previous experience of advisory and corporate support workExcellent organisational skillsStrong legal drafting skills with high levels of attention to detailCollaborative approach with the ability to work effectively with a cohesive teamIf you are interested in a confidential chat about this role or other legal roles in the Scottish market get in touch at lindsey@conektlegal.com or call 07852 332587.
