Job Title: Applications Engineer / Lead

Location: Remote

Salary range: depending on experience.


Our client is at the forefront of technological innovation, specializing in space situational awareness, quantum technology, autonomous systems, and advanced robotics. They create advanced solutions to monitor space objects and enhance secure communications using quantum key distribution.


They’re seeking an Applications Engineer to lead on development of the clients’ products, whilst also supporting them and being a technical interface between the business and the clients.


Responsibilities

  • Engage customers throughout product development and sales stages.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Commercial teams.
  • Lead the integration of Craft Prospect products into customer applications.
  • Develop tools and materials to assist customers in evaluating and acquiring products.
  • Identify lead customers and contribute to defining new products and services.
  • Develop use cases for new and existing products.
  • Resolve quality or performance issues, both remotely and on-site.
  • Serve as the customer-facing technical representative.
  • Lead the sales process for targeted customers or applications.
  • Create training materials for customers and company employees.
  • Support testing and validation at customer sites.
  • Represent the company at conferences and trade shows.


Skills & Experience

  • Experience in a customer-facing role (technical sales, applications engineering, project management)
  • Strong networking skills
  • Previous experience within the Space sector (upstream & downstream) or related industries.
