Join Coinford Building Excellence from the Ground UpCoinford are leaders in groundwork and concrete frame construction delivering quality precision and reliability across major UK projects.Were currently seeking a skilled 10T Machine Driver with Lifting Ops to join our experienced team someone who takes pride in their work operates safely and performs to a consistently high standard on busy construction sites.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate a 10-tonne excavator safely and efficiently following all company and site proceduresExcavate strip foundations drainage runs service trenches and general digging to accurate levels and linesWork confidently with trench boxes drag boxes manhole boxes and trench sheets ensuring all lifting operations are carried out safely and by the bookCarry out fine grading and finishing works including type 1 topsoil and road formation to required tolerancesRead and interpret drawings levels and site plans working closely with engineers and supervisorsObtain and comply with dig permits before breaking groundWork safely around live services demonstrating strong service-avoidance knowledge and safe digging practicesComplete daily pre-start checks maintain accurate records and report defects or maintenance needs promptlyPerform routine greasing cleaning and basic machine maintenance to keep the excavator in excellent conditionTake pride and ownership in the machines condition ensuring it is always presented and maintained to a high standardSupport the wider site team adapting to changing priorities and managing time effectivelyDesirable Experience & QualificationsCPCS or NPORS Excavator 360 (above 10T) with Lifting Ops5 years experience in groundworks civil engineering or excavation rolesExperience with GPS / machine control systems (Trimble Leica Topcon etc.) is highly advantageousAdditional CPCS/NPORS tickets Telehandler Dumper Roller or similarSSSTS or willingness to work towards itGeneral ExpectationsReliable punctual and safety-conscious at all timesStrong teamwork skills able to work effectively with gangs trades engineers and site managementCommitted to quality safety and productivityRight to work in the UKWhy Join CoinfordCompetitive rates and long-term opportunities across major UK projectsA strong safety culture with ongoing training and developmentWork with a team that values professionalism respect and craftsmanshipApply NowIf youre an experienced 10T Machine Driver who takes pride in delivering top-quality work and maintaining plant to a high standard we want to hear from you.Join Coinford where skilled people and precision meet to build the future.* Please note that to comply with client requirements we can only accept NPORS cards affiliated with CSCS and carrying the CSCS hologram.
