Your new company and roleWe are working with a higher education organisation who are recruiting for an experienced Banner developer, this is an 11-month contract on a remote, outside IR35 basis. This role will involve assessing and reviewing possible obsolete functionalities and then removing these. You will also support with UAT which includes testing existing functionalities. This is full software development lifecycle. What you'll need to succeedYou must have experience in a similar role and have working experience in the following:

  • Ellucian Banner Products
  • TomCat Servers
  • Oracle Database applications including PLSQL
  • Java and JavaScript, Linux scripts
  • Expertise in effective collaborative working as part of a team, and the associated tools and practices (agile working practices, task tracking, refining requirements, version control, code reviews, pair programming etc)
  • Experience working across the full software lifecycle, analysing and refining requirements, proposing solutions, estimating, developing the software, deployment, ongoing maintenance and development operationally.
