Interim Finance Manager

Salary: circa £70k

Contract length: 6 months


Consumer Additions are partnering with an omnichannel Consumer Goods business to recruit an interim Finance Manager to join their team, on a hybrid set up with offices in Central London.


As the business goes through their next stage of growth, they are looking for someone that can partner with the CFO and drive insightful analysis through the P&L, as well as provide an accurate picture of cash flow and COGS.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all financial operations, reporting directly to the CFO
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to provide actionable insights for the business
  • Lead annual and quarterly budget planning while monitoring department-specific budgets
  • Implement effective strategies to support operational and investment goals.
  • Develop and maintain financial metrics to drive decision-making and measure success across sales, marketing, and operations
  • Maintain robust financial controls to safeguard company assets and optimize processes
  • Partner cross-functionally with teams to ensure financial alignment with company objective
  • Work closely with operations to manage inventory valuation and production forecasting


Personal Requirements:

  • Ideally a Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) or finalist level
  • Experience in Consumer Goods – wholesale, Retail or E-Commerce
  • Start-up or scale-up experience
  • A history of driving system improvements in growing companies.
  • Strong leadership and team development capabilities
  • Proficient in financial systems, including Excel and Xero, with a knack for optimizing processes
  • A data-driven mindset and a hands-on approach to problem-solving
