Planet Pharma are partnered with a niche mid-sized CRO assisting them with the search for an Associate Manager, Regulatory Affairs to work on an initial 6+ month project with a focus on Cosmetic products.


Role summary:

The Associate Manager will ensure products meet regulatory requirements, particularly within the EU, and responsible for claim review and risk-based assessments of formulations.


Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all cosmetic products comply with EU regulations, including the Cosmetic Product Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009.
  • Evaluate product claims to ensure they are substantiated and compliant with regulatory guidelines.
  • Conduct risk-based assessments of formulations to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Prepare and maintain regulatory documentation, including Product Information Files (PIFs) and Safety Data Sheets (SDS).


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in regulatory affairs within the cosmetics industry.
  • In-depth understanding of EU cosmetic regulations and guidelines.
  • Experience with claim review and risk-based assessments of formulations is essential.
