Job Title: Senior Resource Planning AnalystContract Type: PermanentLocation: Edinburgh or Alderley EdgeWorking style: Hybrid 50% home/office basedClosing date: 26th September 2025As Senior Resource Planning Analyst you will be part of our Group Operations Planning and Performance team and responsible for providing short and medium-term resource planning across our Group Operations customer facing teams to help them ensure they have the right people in the right place at the right time to deliver world class customer service.About the roleSupport the Resource Planning Manager by producing accurate weekly and intra-daily resource plans as well as building and maintaining capacity and recruitment plans.Support develop and mentor the Resource Planning and Real Time Analysts.Build strong stakeholder relationships working with them for inputs and advise where necessary.Track and monitor your adherence to plans to ensure accurate planning of resource.Optimise the workforce planning system ensuring Group Operations is resourced as close to customer demand profiles as possible.About youProven experience in a Resource Planning role is essential.Strong analytical skills and ability to draw out key messages from these.Understanding of data processes solutions and how these can be used to track performance.Knowledge and experience in using workforce planning systems ideally Verint or NICE IEX.About Royal LondonWere the UKs largest mutual life pensions and investment company offering protection long-term savings and asset management products and services.Our People Promise to our colleagues is that we will all work somewhere inclusive responsible enjoyable and fulfilling.
