BIM Coordinator
Reddbrick have an exciting opportunity to work for a progressive, successful main building contractor as a BIM Coordinator.

The contractor is UNABLE to provide VISA sponsorship so candidates should be eligible to work in the United Kingdom.

The business is looking to appoint a BIM Coordinator to be based in their Offices in Wakefield and on projects on site in the region.

BIM Coordinator Position
The BIM Coordinator will fulfil all the requirements of projects with respect to BIM Co-ordination and Management and distribution of information, Project and Asset Information Modelling management, whilst ensuring that all relevant Company Group & Sector Specific Procedures and Policies are met, in accordance with the Integrated Business Management System incorporating the BIM Management processes and procedures.

BIM Coordinator Responsibilities

  • A key requirement is to be able to work with COBie and manage the asset information, collecting and validating prior to handing across to the facility team.
  • Review model coordination and check for clash detection using the Navisworks tool.
  • Undertake the Information Management function defined in ISO.
  • Attend and have active participation in the tender processes for projects.
  • Articulate the Employers/Exchange Information Requirements (EIR) for projects.
  • Capture the project's approach to BIM and form into the BIM Execution Plan.
  • Where required, review & ensure the BIM scope of services within professional appointments are completed in conjunction with the Project commercial team members.
  • Create and collate a detailed mobilisation plan.
  • Understand and operate the systems imposed by the Client on the Project relating to Document Control and Design/BIM Co-ordination.
  • Have proven experience of using Common Data Environments.
  • Have experience of coding and 3D Visual environments.
