SLD Teacher / SEN TeacherSecondary SEN School, Fareham, Hampshire Full-time contract. ASAP start - July 2026/OngoingAcademics are recruiting on behalf of a secondary special school in Fareham which caters for around 185 students who experience severe learning difficulties such as autism and sensory and language challenges. They are looking for a passionate and dedicated SLD Teacher / SEN Teacher who loves teaching young people with special educational needs.You will be teaching a small class of secondary aged students with severe and complex learning needs, delivering creative, differentiated lessons tailored to each students individual learning needs. Due to the severe learning needs of the students, you must have experience of using PECS and Makaton to support learning and interaction. This role is open to both primary and secondary trained teachers, ideally living in the Fareham area.
