About VIDA BioenergyVIDA Bioenergy develops and operates biomethane plants in the UK, Netherlands and Poland. With operational sites in place and a strong development pipeline, VTTI has already invested over $100M in RNG projects and expects to exceed $500M as new plants are built. Our new Wormslade facility (60 GWh/year) will begin commissioning in early 2026, with full production expected by summer 2026. The site will also produce organic fertiliser products and will later integrate a biogenic liquid CO₂ recovery unit. Biomethane is a proven low-carbon technology essential to the net-zero transition.Role SummaryAs Maintenance Manager, you will lead all maintenance activities at the Wormslade biomethane plant. You ensure the safe, reliable and efficient performance of the facility, managing daily maintenance tasks, contractors, planning and long-term asset reliability. You will report to the Plant Manager and collaborate closely with the operations team. Occasional support at other VIDA sites may be required (travel costs covered). This role requires a hands-on, proactive leader who can initiate and deliver solutions independently.What You BringSeveral years’ experience in Anaerobic Digestion (AD), ideally at senior maintenance levelStrong mechanical skills (essential) plus electrical and/or instrumentation expertiseExperience with automated plant systems and modern HMI controlsExcellent troubleshooting and planning capabilitiesExperience managing contractors and small teamsKnowledge of ATEX/DSEAR, HSE practices, Risk Assessments and PTW systemsPositive, “can-do” mindset with strong ownership and reliability focusKey ResponsibilitiesLead and deliver all maintenance activities at the Wormslade siteDevelop, implement and optimise the plant maintenance strategyPlan and record all maintenance activities using the CMMS systemManage contractors on site and ensure compliance with safety and site rulesSupport and lead major maintenance events and overhaulsTroubleshoot plant equipment and implement effective solutionsManage maintenance purchasing and track budget/value for moneySupport EA reporting and produce monthly maintenance summariesShare responsibility for site housekeepingParticipate in the on-call rota for alarms and out-of-hours issuesDeputise for the Plant Manager when requiredWorking HoursMonday–Friday, 08:00–17:00 (1-hour unpaid break).Flexibility required for occasional extended hours.Participation in the on-call rotation.Key-holder responsibilities apply.BenefitsPension: 5% employer / 4% employee25 days holidayOvertime paymentsSick payFree parkingBonus up to 10%Apply NowApply via LinkedIn (motivation letter above CV) or Email your application to: imh@vtti.comAttn: Shiva Ahmadi – Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, VTTI/VIDA
