Are you an experienced Debt Advisory professional looking for a new challenge in a strategic and growth-oriented environment? Our client, a well-established and highly regarded advisory firm, is seeking an Associate Director or Director to join their team in Manchester.


The Role

This is a key growth hire, reflecting the firm’s commitment to increasing market share and expanding its presence in the North West. The role focuses on:

  • Debt Advisory: A strong emphasis on working with private equity-backed borrowers, including raising capital for leveraged buyouts and acquisitions.
  • Corporate Development: Opportunities to work with businesses outside the institutional investor sphere, a growing area for the firm.
  • Business Development: Contributing to the firm’s success through developing new relationships and enhancing existing ones.


Key Attributes

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A deep understanding of and strong connections in the North West market, OR a proven track record in business development within the Debt Advisory space.
  • Accountancy or banking background with applicable qualifications i.e. ACA, CFA or equivalent.
  • Experience working with private equity-backed businesses.
  • A proactive mindset to bring new ideas, relationships, and capabilities to complement the existing team.
  • The ability to originate and execute transactions with confidence and autonomy.
