Traffic Engineer Rochford covering the Essex region (Field based) Full time, permanent Telent are looking for an addition to the region Traffic Essex Engineering team due to growth and increased demand from our customers. We are looking for an experienced, Traffic Engineer who has a proven track record of maintaining and rectifying faults on Traffic Signals Units / Traffic Lighting Systems. This is a field based role which will see you travel across the West Essex region in all weather conditions. Reporting to the Contract Manager, the successful Traffic Signals Maintenance Engineer will be required to carry out maintenance works of Traffic Signals units / Traffic Light systems, detection boxes, Traffic Lights controllers, and get involved in planned maintenance and "switch off" activities. Additional duties may include the commissioning of Traffic Signals / Traffic Lighting equipment if or when required. The successful Traffic Signals Maintenance Engineer will also be required to liaise with the customer(s) on-site, to fault find, troubleshoot, and rectify various issues and problems with Traffic Signals / Traffic Light systems and units. The Traffic Signals Maintenance Engineer will need to be flexible to travel across the Essex region.
