We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Automation Tester to join our dynamic QA team. The ideal candidate will assist in the development and execution of automated test scripts to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in software testing and automation, with ample opportunities for growth and professional development. Key Responsibilities:


  • Test Automation Development: Collaborate with senior testers and developers to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts.
  • Test Execution: Execute automated test cases and report on the results, ensuring the software meets the required standards.
  • Bug Reporting: Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools.
  • Test Planning: Assist in the creation of test plans, test cases, and test data to ensure comprehensive coverage.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in code reviews, and provide suggestions for improving the automation framework and testing processes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the development team to understand requirements, and ensure that testing activities align with project timelines and objectives.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear and concise documentation of test procedures, results, and defect reports.


Required Qualifications:


  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Basic understanding of programming and scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Tools and Frameworks: Familiarity with automation testing tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Learning Attitude: Eagerness to learn new technologies and testing methodologies.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience: Internship or prior experience in software testing, particularly in automation.
  • Certifications: ISTQB or other relevant certifications in software testing.
  • Agile Methodologies: Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
