IT Business Development Manager

The role:


Drive sales growth by developing and executing strategies to meet targets, building strong relationships with key public sector stakeholders, and identifying new market opportunities. This role involves presenting solutions, negotiating and closing deals, and ensuring customer satisfaction for lasting partnerships. Additionally, you’ll manage detailed sales records and forecasts and collaborate with hardware and software vendors, as well as channel and service partners, alongside the business development team.


The candidate:


To excel in this role, you should have a background with an IT reseller, VAR, or MSP and proven experience in generating new business across multiple channels. You’ll need a strong track record of independently managing and expanding accounts, consistently achieving at least £10k GP per month (with higher billers qualifying for increased salaries). Confidence in discussing a wide range of IT business solutions is also essential.
