Next Generation are currently recruiting for a Band Saw Operator to work with a global leading manufacturer based near Halesowen. As the Band Saw Operator you will be responsible for setting and operating Band Saws in a safe and effective manner whilst also being able to move material around the plant via a Cab Crane.

Whats on offer for the Band Saw Operator?

Up to £13.92 hourly rate

Working hours of the Band Saw Operator:

Rotating double day shift:

Week one (6am 14.00pm)

Week two (14.00pm 22.00pm Monday Thursday, Friday 18.00pm finish)

Duties of the Band Saw Operator:

Operate a BAND SAW safely and efficiently

Measure & markup material for cutting

Minimise scrap through accurate and intelligent cutting

Chamfering & centering

Operating Cab cranes

Daily machine checks
