We’re looking for a Building Standards Officer to join our Growth, Planning and Climate team in Elgin. Ideally, we’re seeking a fully qualified professional with experience in a Local Authority Building Standards environment. However, we also welcome applications from candidates with relevant qualifications or experience who are keen to develop in the role. Find out more about Living HereRequirementsWhat You’ll Do Verify Building Warrant applications and Completion Certificates Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with Building Regulations Provide expert advice to applicants, agents, and the public Contribute to service improvements and performance targets What We’re Looking For A degree or HNC in a building-related discipline Significant relevant experience (ideally in a Local Authority Building Standards environment) Strong communication and analytical skills A team player with a flexible, proactive approach The IndividualWhy Join Us?
