You will be responsible for addressing mechanical malfunctions and breakdowns safely, contributing to the plant’s productivity and upholding our commitment to a zero-tolerance safety and continuous improvement culture. This role demands initiative, technical expertise, and adherence to stringent health, safety, and environmental standards. Key responsibilities – Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Perform maintenance reporting via CMMS and document breakdowns using MBRs Conduct TPM/PPM activities and monitor production processes for continuity Ensure safe operations by fitting correct spare parts and rectifying stoppages/malfunctions Adhere to site PPE, LOTOTO, and health, safety, and environmental regulations Maintain production output, quality, and yields through effective repairs Engage in continuous improvement and independently address electrical/mechanical faults Diagnose and repair hydraulic/pneumatic systems and a range of mechanical/heavy industry equipment Perform houseke...
