Talk to us about how we can best support youWe are looking for an Infrastructure Programme Manager to join us to take accountability for managing one or more technology programmes (programme budgets ranging from 100k-6m) and leading a team of Project Managers. This role will specifically be managing programmes with an end-user computing and core data centres focus where you will be responsible for scoping building and delivering programme plans and liaising with key teams and stakeholders across Group Technology and the wider business to effectively manage new project demand and priority changes.This role will be based out of our B&Q office just outside Southampton with an expectation of 2-3 days a week in the office. Travel to other locations (across the UK and Europe) may be needed depending on project requirements.Whats the jobBuilding and maintaining programme and resource plan(s).Accountable for the clarity of project scope and accuracy of resource & budget estimations.Ensuring that effective programme governance is in place and progress is tracked and accurately reported.Responsible for ensuring that programme risks are fully mitigated by implementing maintaining and supporting risk management plans. Acting as the escalation point for any project/programme risks and issues.Managing key stakeholders through effective communication identifying key issues and providing actionable insights to enable effective decision-making.Managing the programmes budget with clear and accurate forecasting.Managing developing & mentoring team members.What youll bringDemonstrable experience of leading complex infrastructure programmes (ideally with direct experience leading end-user computing/data centres projects/programmes).Experience working to recognised project/programme management methodologies.A broad technical background with the ability to navigate diverse technology challenges.Experience with risk and issue management.Well-developed understanding of financial management processes and cycles including forecasting capitalisation budgeting etc.Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage connect and influence at all levels of the organisation.Ability to build lead and motivate a diverse team of IT professionals in a matrix resource model.Be Customer Focused constantly improving our customers experienceI listen to my customersI use available data to help make decisionsBe Human acting with humanity and careI do the right thingI am respectfulBe Curious thrive on learning thinking beyond the obviousI build and share new ideasI try new things and share my learningsBe Agile working with trust pace and agilityI have courage to be creativeDone is better than perfect I aim for 80/20Be Inclusive acting inclusively in diverse teams to work togetherI embrace allyshipI have self-awareness and a desire to learnBe Accountable championing the plan to deliver results and growthI own my actionsI understand the Kingfisher plan and how it relates to my roleAt Kingfisher we value the perspectives that any new team members bring and we want to hear from you.
