Groundskeeper

GroundskeeperURGENTLYneeded for an immediate start role in Pennyburn, Foyle for our client the Northern Ireland Housing Executive. This is a temporary role set to last for at least three months with a possibility of an extension. The hours of work will be 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8am 1pm on Fridays with a rate of pay of £11.59 per hour. The Successful candidate will have relevant experience, be able to operate, use and maintain mechanical/electrical equipment and machinery such as chain saws, grass-cutters, hedge trimmers, strimmers, push mowers, ride-on mowers, and tractor mounted flail hedge-cutters. What you will be doing: Establishing and maintenance of shrub beds and grassed areas Removing dead trees and planting trees Sharpen and renew blades for mowers To clean grounds and lift litter Where necessary display signs in work areas warning of dangers Reporting potential Public Liability Claims (PLICs) hazards to the District Office for repair What We Need from You: 1 Years previous experience in a similar role What We Will Offer You: Weekly pay Inclusion into the company pensions scheme First Choice is an equal opportunities employer Skills: Chainsaw Ground maintenance Gardening
