Job Title:Tech Business AnalystLocation:NottinghamContract:PermRecruiter:Noaman HussainAbout the roleWere looking for a Business Analyst as a member of the tech team here at Boots Digital Health. This is an opportunity to work across a diverse landscape of applications and programmes.Reporting to the Lead Tech Business Analyst you will work with members of the Boots Digital Health tech product and business teams team to jointly define with them the high-level scope goals and requirements for major upcoming and ongoing projects.The day-to-day activities of the role will include but are not limited to:Work with business and IT stakeholders and using a variety of techniques as suitable to define capture and prioritise the backlog of requirements and create user stories including functional non-functional and IT operational requirements for the project.Plan the business analysis work for projects by defining timescales milestones and dependencies for the work to proceed in an Agile or Waterfall manner.Work in a delivery team on large / complex pieces of work ensuring that the vision scope and requirements are aligned across the entire project.Support test teams and project managers with the evaluation of defects and prioritisation of these defects.Help with UAT testing of products to ensure the initial user stories are delivered by the solutionRepresent the business / leadership team and their requirements through the project lifecycle.Promote process ensuring an approach to ensure adherence but pace.What youll need to haveYoull have experience as a Business Analyst with the confidence and passion to take accountability for projects of varying scale and inspiring the implementation of outstanding solutions.Youll manage influence negotiate and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders at all levels in the businessYoull work toward a collaborative understanding to deliver the best product for our customers.Youll have the ability to handle multiple projects deadlines and work.Youll always aim to understand and bring others along when your understanding is greater than theirs.You will have experience working within both Agile and Waterfall software delivery environments and an all-round appreciation of IT delivery.It would be great if you also haveThese are desirable skills or experience and are not essential so we would welcome applications from candidates that dont match this additional criteria.Experience working as a Product Owner Product Manager or Agile Business Analyst.Experience working in a project delivery environment.Recognised qualification in business analysis.Experience of Healthcare/HealthtechOur benefitsBoots Retirement Savings PlanDiscretionary annual bonusGenerous employee discountsEnhanced maternity/paternity/adoption leave pay and gift card for anyone expecting or adopting a childFlexible benefits schemeincluding option to buy additional holiday discounted gym membership life assurance activity passes and much more.Access to free 24/7 counselling and support through TELUS Health our Employee Assistance Programme.We have a great range of benefits in addition to the above that offer flexibility to suit you - find out more at Exclusions may apply eligible roles only.Please note any salary estimates given on third-party sites are not provided or endorsed by Boots and may not be accurate.Why BootsAt Boots we foster a working environment where consideration and inclusivity help everyone to be themselves and reach their full potential.
