Role Overview:

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will collaborate with class teachers to provide essential support in the classroom. Your role will involve offering one-on-one assistance and conducting small group sessions to ensure that every student receives the guidance and encouragement they need to excel. This is a long term full time role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering effective lessons.
  • Provide individualised support to students to facilitate their learning.
  • Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Monitor student progress and report findings to the class teacher.
  • Address student's personal needs, including minor first aid and overall well-being.
Desired Skills and Qualities:
  • A genuine passion for education and child development.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a proactive approach to classroom activities.
  • Previous experience in an educational setting or relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, NVQ) is preferred.
  • Enhanced DBS check (we can assist if you don't already have one) and eligibility to work in the UK.
