**Profile:**- Minimum of 18 months' experience in an accountancy practice.- Preferred qualification: A-levels.- Professional demeanor with meticulous attention to detail.- Proficiency in Xero/Sage, Excel, Word, and Outlook.- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
**Opportunity:**Our client offers an incredible opportunity for aspiring accountants:- Fully funded AAT qualification.- Clear trajectory towards Chartered Accountancy qualification within the firm.- Comprehensive training in advanced bookkeeping, accounts production, and industry-standard software including Sage Accounting and Xero.
**Responsibilities:**As a Trainee Accountant, you will take on a diverse range of responsibilities, including:- Handling financial administration and electronic document management.- Managing Companies House filing processes.- Utilising Xero, Sage, and Excel to prepare accurate client books.- Managing VAT returns on behalf of clients.- Assisting in basic payroll preparation for clients.- Supporting the audit department in file preparation.- Participating actively in client site audit visits.- Maintaining effective client communication via phone and email.- Contributing to general office duties in Brentwood.
