Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are currently recruiting:We are looking for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a permanent position based with our client based in Barnsley.Immediate start available (Subject to the interview process)Salary is £46,819.50 per annum.Purpose of the roleThe successful candidate will be responsible for keeping production & plant machinery in service & the downtime to a minimum. The role is to work as part of a team covering 24/7 demands of the business.Main ResponsibilitiesComply with all HSE policies and procedures.Ensuring that Engineering records are accurately maintained & presented in a timely manner.Electrical diagnostic work on PLC systemsImplementing & supporting rapid breakdown fault finding & rectification.Able to recommend design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions.Breakdowns, fault finding & repair of complex machinery & ancillaries;PLC's / Controls SIEMENSAssist with the focused improvement team.3 phase electrical systems & operations.Initiating improvement in practices, Systems & procedures.Mechanical maintenance.QualificationsElectrical / Mechanical qualificationsTime served engineering apprenticeship.Trouble shoot & repair equipment & systems which include Electrical, Mechanical, Pneumatic, Hydraulic & PLC.3 + years' experience within a manufacturing environment.Good understanding of engineering principlesBe able to carry out PPM on machinery.Installation & commissioning of industrial machinery.Welding qualification.In the first instance, send CV's to (url removed) or call (phone number removed) (option 1) for Engineering.Dutton Recruitment are working as an Employment Business on behalf of our client
