Diocese of St Davids Role: Diocesan Secretary/Chief Executive Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 Location: Carmarthen Closing Date: 5pm on Monday 1st December Named for Wales’ patron saint, the Diocese of St Davids is the Church in Wales for the counties of Ceredigion and Carmarthenshire, with our cathedral in Pembrokeshire one of the jewels of the nation. We are seeking an exceptional individual to join us as our Diocesan Secretary/Chief Executive at the outset of our Pruning for Growth strategy and our “Open to God/Agored i Dduw” Mission. The role of the Diocesan Secretary/Chief Executive plays a critical part in the life of the mission and ministry in the region. We are looking for someone who can be a steward of resources, a leader of people and an effective partner in a wide array of relationships. You will bring a track record of successful strategic and operational leadership. You will be a collegiate, collaborative and inclusive leader, with success in nurturing and developing high performing teams. Your experience will also have seen you building effective relationships with a varied group of stakeholders where patience, persuasion and influence have been key to success.
