Maintenance Technician – Nights Wellingborough  - NN8Up to £35kNights 7pm – 7am working a shift pattern of 3 on – 3 off The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the throughput and maintenance of the tray washing process machinery on the night shift. Problem solving, Technical Skills, Continuous Improvement and Preventative Maintenance are key requirements to this role.The ideal Maintenance Technician will be:Apprentice trained in mechanical / electrical or related subject  Able to identify potential issues before they happen and have the skills to rectify/avoid unplanned stoppages. Making short term fixes where necessary and then planning in the long term fix.50/50 mechanical electrical skill mix Able to work with a minimum of supervisionAble to use their skills and foresight to identify continuous improvement opportunities within the processesThe Maintenance Technician will be responsible for:Efficient running of the tray washing process and equipmentLimiting unplanned downtime is the core responsibility of this roleThe condition and reliability of the production equipment including its safetyTesting and checking after repair work is completed to avoid repeated returns to the same issueRecord and monitor quality process parameters and the required levels are clearly defined (TF024)Carry out preventative maintenance correctly and maintain records accordinglyWork with all of the maintenance team, passing over all information of any issues to the other shiftsThis role will suit someone who has practical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or a production environment who can take ownership of the equipment maintenance on the night shift.What you will receive in return: Great starting salary 20 days annual leave Pension contribution -  5% employee and 3% employerIf you feel you have the necessary skills and experience and meet the criteria above please apply below
