Do you have an understanding of crop irrigation and fertigation?I am seeking enthusiastic Glasshouse Growers for a leading soft fruits producer on the south coast. Supplying to major retailers nationwide, you will be passionate about delivering high quality crops all year round.The role:Management of daily Irrigation & Fertigation strategiesManagement of the growing environment including temperature, humidity & Co2 controlRegular crop walking highlighting crop management work & recording any Pest & Disease issuesBiological control monitoring, ordering process & trackingAssist in creating spray plans and schedules ensuring crops are being sprayed at the correct time and in the correct wayGeneral maintenance of operating systems & infrastructureYou:Growing experience in a commercial Glasshouse environmentWill be confident to make day to day decisionsEnthusiastic approach to work dutiesBe flexible with regards to working hoursPackage:salary £37-41k doe25 days holiday plus bank holidayscompany mobile phone5% pension contributionpost probation benefits inc: private medical insurance, life assurance, eye test and glasses contributions.WR Engineering are the #1 recruitment partner for engineering, manufacturing & technical sales jobs.
