Disputes Paralegal - 6m FTCTop US Law FirmLondon OfficeSalary Up To £48,000pa (Pro-rata)Our client, a top US law firm, is looking for an experienced Litigation and/or Disputes professional to join them on an initial 6 month fixed-term contract in London - working as their new Disputes Paralegal.Reporting to two Partners and working closely/collaboratively with a team of Fee-Earners/Solicitors - you'll be part of a fast-paced environment, working on complex and high-profile cases.As the successful Paralegal, you'll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:Assisting Solicitors in managing a caseload of both Commercial and Civil Litigation matters Conducting extensive legal research and preparing case summaries Preparing trial bundles and assisting with court filingsMaintaining records and ensuring compliance the the DRA and Legal Aid AgencySupporting the team with administrative duties when requireddrafting, amending and reviewing legal documentation (witness statements, correspondence, court applications, etc)+ much more.To be considered for this opportunity, you must have/be the following: Be educated to degree level (LLB/GDL) and ideally have the LPC or SQE completedHave prior/existing experience in a UK law firm or legal department within Disputes Resolution or LitigationHave a strong understanding of UK Civil Procedure Rules (CPR)Be able to commute to the London office on a regular basisBe able to commit to an initial 6m FTCFor more information and to review a full job description, get in touch as soon as possible.
