Raw Materials Sourcing Manager

Our client is a luxury womenswear fashion brand requires an experienced Raw Materials Sourcing Manager, who has experience of working within a luxury brand. Within this role you will be responsible for all bulk production raw materials for all seasons. You will be experienced at working with mills and factories across Europe and have strong negotiation and costing experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Fabric Critical Path.
  • Update the business on all timelines and CP.
  • Negotiate bulk prices
  • Sourcing new fabrics, suppliers & trims for new collections
  • Placing production orders
  • Creating seasonal fabric boards
  • Liaising with suppliers and manufacturers and negotiating prices
  • Work closely with Creative Director and Design Team
  • Supporting teams with advising on Fabrics, trims and componanets for new new products.
  • To process and cross check invoices vs zedonk in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with mills and factories.
  • Ensure all bulk fabric testing
  • Manage all bulk approvals and relevant bulk shipments
  • To ensure clear communication with manufacturers about fabric deliveries, processes and potential delays.
  • To manage the fabric liability and its relevant cost/budget and utilisation plan.
  • To manage budgets
  • To attend fabric fairs as and when required by the business.
  • To arrange mills’ meeting/call to resolve issues during the production process and at the end of season for seasonal feedback.


Requirements


  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with luxury RTW products.
  • Strong understanding of fabrics and trims
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Highly organized and budget conscious
  • Experience of Zedonk would be beneficial
  • Strong communicator
