Job DescriptionAviation Composite EngineerLocation:Stansted UKSalary:(DOE)Hours: Full timeAre you an experiencedComposite Engineerwith a background in theaviation industry Do you have a passion for delivering precision repairs and working with cutting-edge aerospace materialsChevronis proud to partner with a leading aviation engineering provider to find a highly skilledComposite Engineer for their growing team.Role Overview:You will be responsible for carrying out composite repair and manufacturing work on a variety of aircraft components and structures. Working within a fast-paced MRO environment you will ensure all work is completed to exacting industry standards and in accordance with EASA/CAA regulations.Key Responsibilities:Perform structural and cosmetic repairs on composite aircraft components and assembliesConduct inspections and assess damage using non-destructive methods and visual analysisManufacture and fit composite components using pre-preg wet lay-up or vacuum bagging techniquesPrepare detailed documentation and maintain compliance with regulatory standardsLiaise with engineering planning and quality teams to support efficient workflowOperate in accordance with safety protocols engineering drawings and OEM specificationsContribute to continuous improvement of shop procedures and repair techniquesRequirements:Proven experience incomposite repair and manufacturingwithin theaviation/aerospaceindustryUnderstanding ofEASA/CAA regulationsand composite repair standardsProficient in working with a range of composite materials including carbon fibre glass fibre and aramidFamiliarity withtechnical drawings manuals and repair documentationA strong eye for detail manual dexterity and quality-first approachRelevant training or certification in composite technologies (desirable)Whats on Offer:Competitive salary based on experienceOpportunity to work with an industry leader in a modern facility atStansted AirportSupportive and collaborative work environment with opportunities for developmentA career path in a growing niche of the aviation sectorFull-time permanent position with standard working hoursRequired Experience:IC Key Skills Aeronautical,Healthcare Attorney,Fitness,General Services,Account Management,Export Documentation Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
