MOT Tester Nights

MEM Recruitment is seeking skilled MOT Testers to join our team in Corby. We have day shift and night shift to offer. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and be proficient in using hand tools and power tools.
The main duties will be;
- Carry out general servicing of vehicles and the MOT testing
- Diagnose problems on vehicles in the workshop and if needed; undertake electrical diagnosis on vehicles as and when required
- Undertake road and ramp testing and inspection as and when required
- Carry out all repairs in line with approved methods to restore the vehicle to its original condition
- Ascertain job requirements from the job card/estimate and record all time taken against the repair
- Ensure that all documentation is accurately completed and that all Company procedures are followed
- Assist with general workshop loading as and when required
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of previous experience in a similar role as a Vehicle Technician /Mechanical Inspector
- Qualified MOT Tester (essential)
- Qualified to City and Guilds or NVQ Level 3 (essential)
