Join us as an ER Assistant and youll be a big part of this.Whats the jobRespond to low complexity employment relations queries in line with our policies and within our agreed SLAs after asking all relevant questions to fully understand the situation and queryInspire confidence and encourage the decision maker to make informed decisions by providing expert advicesupport and coachingDraft relevant letters ensuring theyre well written grammatically and factually correct include everything thatis necessary and written in a way that minimises riskSupport the wider ER team in administration and escalating cases where appropriateEnsure stakeholders understand the policies process options / advice given and tools available provide effective day to day administrationDevelop and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholdersProactively contribute to the team working collaboratively sharing knowledge giving feedbackUse MI and anecdotal information to identify trends and recommend appropriate action to improve performance and drive continuous improvements of our serviceAttend internal and external training courses as requiredProvide face to face advice and note-taking support to managersMaintain and develop supporting tools and materials for example policies and How to GuidesWhat we need:Ability to prioritise and work well under pressureStrong listening and communication skills - verbal and writtenStrong influencing coaching skills and questioning techniquesAttention to detailProven ability to contribute and work as part of a teamWhats in it for meAs part of a great team youll be valued for who you are.Were committed to making B&Q more diverse and representative of the communities we serve where everyone can feel they belong and have equal opportunities.
