Please let us know in your application your desired working pattern.Salary: From 49200 Reporting to: Talent Development ManagerLondon docklandsOur permanent hybrid policy sees us all working at least four days across a fortnight in the office. You will be responsible for managing and expanding our apprenticeship provision championing early career opportunities and overseeing the development and implementation of our graduate programs and other emerging talent initiatives.Combining strategic and operational planning and delivery business partnering supplier management and external engagement delivered through a highly collaborative approach you will ensure our Talent and their support networks have excellent experiences on the programs.Key responsibilitiesSetting up leading and managing the organisations apprenticeship programWorking closely with our Procurement team to bring on board and manage the right external providers that offer the best quality service and value for moneyActing as the main point of contact collaborating and managing external providers to deliver high-quality apprenticeship training.Promoting apprenticeship opportunities within the organisation ensuring maximum engagement and uptakeStaying up to date with ESFA and funding guidelines and doing portal submissionsDesigning and implementing graduate programs and other early careers initiativesWorking with your Talent Acquisition and Learning and Development colleagues to develop strategies to attract recruit and retain emerging talentBuilding and maintaining relationships with educational institutions training providers and industry bodiesWorking closely with internal stakeholders and HR colleagues to identify emerging talent needs and opportunitiesOverseeing managing and monitoring the apprenticeship levy budget ensuring effective use of funds.Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of the programs making proactive improvements as necessaryChampioning the development of early career talent within the organisationProviding support and guidance to apprentices and graduates fostering a culture of continuous learning and developmentSupporting stakeholders with information advice and guidance where appropriate.Reviewing mapping and recording with stakeholders the mandatory 20% off the job training for each apprenticeTo be considered for this role youll need to show us that youve got the skills and capabilities. Youll have to meet the following minimum criteria:Minimum Criteria:Must have experience of establishing and managing Early Careers & Apprenticeships functions.Proven experience of managing a large apprenticeship Levy pot and budget control (circa 500kpa).Proven experience in designing and managing successful apprenticeship programs and similar early career initiatives.Strong knowledge of tendering processes and managing external providers and institutionsMust be up to date with the ESFA guidance good understanding funding rules portal submissions.Experience of working between Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development to maximise the use of levy potKnowledge of accrediting internal programmesDesirable CriteriaWe would also like you to have the following skills:Strong organisational and project management skillsPassionate about developing emerging talent and fostering a culture of growth and learningStrong Stakeholder Management experienceExperience setting up and running inhouse programmes as an employer providerUnderstanding of safeguarding around apprenticesUnderstanding of Ofsted rules around apprenticeship provisionsEAT L2 or equivalent qualificationUnderstanding of standards that can be used in a highly matrixed organisation.Understanding of the trailblazing process.Understanding of the T-Level provisionExperience of working between Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development to maximise the use of levy potWhy Financial Ombudsman ServiceWe are a values led organisation.
