What you'll need:
  • Proven experience in comparable roles, must be able to demonstrate experience of managing agencies and internal teams
  • Expert user of Google Analytics, Adwords and or SA360, Facebook Ad Manager, Data Studio
  • Experience developing, optimising and utilising attribution models
  • Strong experience of creating and managing integrated digital campaigns with a multi-channel delivery across multiple UK and international markets
  • Experience with optimising feeds and first party data to maximise the effectiveness of ad spend
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic fast-paced environment, and being across multiple activities in a matrix team
  • Keen eye for detail & problem-solving nature
  • Good communication skills; ability to engage at executive-level and influence decision making

Why we want you

We’re looking for an experienced digital marketeer to lead our Digital Marketing function across the UK and US.

The role is responsible for driving continued growth in our business through digital marketing channels. Reporting to the CMO and responsible for a multi-million pound budget, you will have operational responsibility for a roster of agencies and collaborate with a talented in-house team.

The role is responsible for tracking, reporting and analysing the effectiveness of our campaigns balancing business objectives of high growth and profitability. You’ll have a strong performance mindset, as wins in these channels are delivered by incremental gains and attention to detail. You should be very familiar with working with and presenting data to the wider business, including at Board level.

You will work with our agency partners and internal data teams to interrogate dashboards and reports that allow you to make trading decisions in real time.

You will have experience of both managing agencies and internal teams across PPC, SEO and Paid Social. When managing agencies you will demonstrate the ability to empower the agencies to succeed and maximise the value of time spent on our account.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Drive traffic growth, through best in class digital marketing execution; and relentless performance optimisation through continuous metric and channel oversight
  • Drive organic site traffic up and boost conversion rates by harvesting high purchase intent traffic through tailored content
  • Manage agency relationships responsible for Paid Search, Search Engine Optimisation and Paid Social
  • Provide trading updates as required to the business, up to daily in key periods throughout the year
  • Work with CMO and CFO to own all digital marketing forecasts and budgets, managing digital marketing allocation
  • Stakeholder for all performance channels in campaign planning, liaise between agencies and internal creative teams to ensure category leading creative and copy across all campaign
