ABOUTTHE ROLE

As a SeniorCare Assistant at our client's care home, you’ll look after thedifferent needs of residents to enable our client to deliverquality, person-centred care and support. Your role will involvesupervising and inspiring a team of dedicated Care Assistantsalongside the Deputy General Manager. You can also expect tosupport the clinical team in a specific area, such as medication,assessments, care plans or care reviews. Like everyone here, as aSenior Care Assistant, you’ll always respect the dignity andpreferences of our client's residents as well playing your own partin creating an environment that’s warm, welcoming andvibrant.


ABOUTYOU

You should have anNVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care to joinas a Senior Care Assistant. We’ll also need to see that you havespecific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly. We’re lookingfor people who are warm-hearted, compassionate and committed togiving each resident individualised care and support. You’ll havethe opportunity to develop your career through ongoing trainingopportunities, so there’s no limit to how far you can go. Many ofour client's Senior Carer Assistants progress into CarePractitioner, Regional Carer or nursingroles.
