Accident Claims EngineerSalary: £35,000Location: Hampton

My client is looking for a Accident Claims Engineer for a well-established company in Hampton.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate cost estimates through Audatex, considering repair methods, vehicle downtime, and client procedures.
  • Coordinate with other departments for the recovery of undrivable vehicles to approved repairers.
  • Review damage claims for hire vehicles.
  • Process accident claims per client procedures.
  • Handle Total Loss claims, including valuations, salvage bids, classification, and disposal.
  • Process and verify accident repair invoices for payment and recharge.
  • Generate and complete reports for Client Review meetings as needed.
  • Prepare claims experience letters as needed.
  • Offer technical and procedural support across the business.

Person Specification:

  • Experience in Bodyshop Estimating, Insurance Claims, or Accident Management in the automotive industry.
  • Familiarity with working within quality standards/frameworks.
  • Understanding of basic Health & Safety requirements.
  • Qualifications: ATAVDA, City & Guilds, or equivalent NVQ in motor vehicle-related subjects.
  • Full driving licence required.
