DescriptionMake a real impact as a GCSE Maths TutorAre you a passionate educator making a difference in the lives of students withSEMH needs We are looking for an experienced and dedicated tutor. Youll provide personalised 1:1 support in Maths for GCSE students. These in-person sessions in Sidcup offer the chance to work closely with students helping them build skills and confidence in a supportive and tailored learning environment.This job is in-person in the Sidcup area Hour(s): 1 hour per weekDay(s) and Time(s): Monday Wednesday or Friday eveningSubject and Level: GCSE MathsPay: 35 p/hStart date: w/c 3rd November 2025Responsibilities:Develop and deliver tuition programmes in small groups or 1:1Provide tuition that is appropriate for the individuals/groups needs and study level.Assessing any barriers to students learning and working to overcome these.Monitoring student progress and producing reports.Creating a positive and supportive learning environment.Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum content and qualification frameworks youre providing subject tuition in.Regularly reporting updates to the Tuition Programmes Manager.RequirementsTo be successful in this role you should have:Bachelors degreeExperience working with students with SEMH Needs1 years of tutoring / teaching experienceAbility to work with students of all abilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsRight to be self employed in the UKBenefitsWhat We Offer:A friendly dynamic team that values collaboration and personal growthThe opportunity to make a difference in the lives of studentsCompetitive hourly rateAbout Tutors GreenOur mission is to provide first-class tuition primarily for disadvantaged students through discounted and pro-bono services across the UK.
