What you’ll do:

As an Enterprise Network Implementation Engineer, you’ll be working in a diverse team operating across Sky UK and India and working closely with our counterparts in Sky Group and Comcast/NBCU.

You’ll be part of a team that is responsible for implementing network designs and standards for the network infrastructure for the changing business needs. The role will focus on Sky’s Enterprise Network but will also offer the opportunity to work on various projects across the whole IP network, including the Edge & Services and the Core & Metro areas.

  • Be central to the successful delivery of projects across the Sky group.
  • Work closely with the design team and review appropriate design documentation.
  • Plan, raise and implement network implementation changes within the Sky Enterprise Network.
  • Complete Support and Operational documentation detailing the solution deployed.
  • Ensure all network infrastructure is managed and monitored as per standard.
  • Deliver a successful operational handover to the Network Operations team, including any training need.
  • Manage and maintain Sky network standards and policies.
  • Deliver multiple projects at the same time and be a determined individual who has a desire to deliver.

What you'll bring:

  • Previous experience of network infrastructure implementation for large data centres and 4000+ user campus LANs.
  • Experience with high end Cisco platforms such as Cisco Nexus, Catalyst 9xxx series. F5 load balancers & Palo Alto and Fortinet Firewalls.
  • SDN knowledge including Cisco ACI.
  • Public cloud connectivity, GCP, AWS, Azure.
  • Network Function Virtualisation.
  • Network automation/Basic programming & scripting ability.
  • Cisco Qualified Specialist in one or more of the following: Routing & Switching, Wireless LAN, Security, Optimisation.
