Senior Works Manager - Major Infrastructure Project - PlymouthRandstad are recruiting for an experienced Senior Works Manager to join a major infrastructure project at Devonport Docks in Plymouth. This is a contract role offering a competitive rate and the opportunity to work on a critical project within a leading joint venture. Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of construction operations on a specific section of the project, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Lead and manage a team of site staff, including engineers, supervisors, and operatives, providing guidance and support.
  • Implement and maintain safety procedures and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Identify and manage potential risks and issues, proposing solutions and corrective actions.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, meeting minutes, and safety records.

* Work closely with the Site Agent and Project Manager to ensure project goals are met effectively.Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Works Manager or in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • A strong understanding of construction methods and processes, particularly within the infrastructure sector.
