Mechanical Project Engineer


We are looking for a Project Engineer to work under a Program Manager and support the ongoing program of build projects.


Applicants must have a mechanical engineering background in either building services, prefabricated plant or machinery builds.


The purpose is to manage projects from cradle to grave ensuring projects are delivered on time and to specification.


The Role

  • Project Engineering prefabricated plant room projects for data centres on behalf of global blue-chip clients
  • Planning and scheduling material, labour, capacity to fit lead times
  • Keeping a close view of designs and occasionally designing using Autocad
  • Planning and programming work from time of order to delivery
  • Scheduling and coordinating; design, manufacturing, delivery and hand over
  • Monday - Friday, early finish Friday


Requirements

  • HNC in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services or Pipe Fitter background
  • Project engineering, project management / supervisory experience in building services, prefabricated plant, machinery manufacturing
  • AutoCAD experience
  • Organised and clear communicator
