We are looking to recruit several Operations technicians in the Inverness area on a full-time ongoing temporary basis. You will be working as a Laboratory Technician on a temporary assignment for approximately 4 months with the possibility of being extended thereafter, based in Inverness. LifeScan is a diverse and welcoming company that offers a whole host of opportunities and a great company to 'get your foot in the door' to develop your career further.Your new roleAs an Operations Technician, you will work as part of a team to use equipment for assembly and processing tasks producing LifeScan's glucose monitoring products. You will assist with setting up equipment, quality control inspections and cleaning of the equipment as required. You will play a key role in the organisation notifying your supervisor of any maintenance or repairs needed on equipment and helping to ensure production targets are met. This will include preparing accurate records/documentation of the work in progress.What you'll need to succeedNo prior experience is necessary as full training will be provided.For this role, you will be able to communicate and accurately convey information both verbal and written. You will have the ability to build sound technical knowledge of assigned processes and accurately absorb and follow technical instructions. You will take personal responsibility and accountability as required to maintain the process EHS, Quality, Yield and Throughput. You will be able to adhere to departmental and company GMP guidelines and operating procedures.
