Job Title: Quantity SurveyorLocation: Hybrid/Field-Based minimum 2 days in officeSheppertonSalary: £35,000£65,000 (dependent on experience)Working Hours: 8:0017:00 / 9:0018:00 (occasional Saturdays) Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our team in a hybrid/field-based role. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects within the social housing and domestic property sector, with regular office presence required in Shepperton. The successful Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for preparing cost estimates, producing valuations, and managing weekly and monthly cost reports. You will play a pivotal role in managing subcontractor relationships, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard. Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare accurate estimates for social housing and domestic property projectsProduce valuations in line with contractual requirementsGenerate and maintain weekly and monthly cost reportsOversee and manage subcontractor accounts and relationshipsWork with Schedules of Rates (SOR) to ensure compliance and accuracySupport project teams with commercial guidance and reportingExperience & Skills RequiredProven experience as a Quantity Surveyor , ideally within social housing and domestic property sectorsStrong knowledge and experience of SORDemonstrable experience producing estimates and valuationsCompetent in preparing cost reports and dealing with subcontractorsExcellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skillsQualificationsBSc in Quantity Surveying or related discipline (preferred)Professional membership such as RICS or MCIOB (desirable)Company Benefits20 days annual holiday (plus bank holidays)Mileage allowance for work travelPension schemeThis is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Quantity Surveyor to advance their career within a supportive and growing organisation.TPBN1_UKTJ
