Job Title: DSP Engineer (Underwater Acoustics )

Job Type: Contract/Freelance

Clearance: SC

9 Months Phase 1


Our client is seeking the expertise of a Scientific Algorithm engineer who has prior and current experience with dealing with underwater sonar/acoustics, including the hardware that such algorithms will run from. due to the nature of these roles, you will need to be a British National and have prior/active SC Clearance. This project will be more than 1 singular phase.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement DSP algorithms for sonar and underwater systems.
  • Collaborate on system requirements and specifications.
  • Optimize algorithms for real-time processing on embedded platforms.
  • Test and debug DSP systems.
  • Document design processes and results.



Qualifications:

  • Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
  • Experience in DSP, SDR, and radar systems.
  • Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and MATLAB.
  • Real-time signal processing experience.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
