This involves supporting and guiding the team as well as providing training where required. Ensuring the team are meeting required KPIsReporting to the Group Billing Manager the Senior Billing Coordinator will work and support various key stakeholders to ensure service delivery is being met. Providing reports and updates on a regular basis Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupervise and manage day-to-day billing operations to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.Review invoices for completeness and accuracy and generate complex billing clients regular reportingAct as a first point of escalation for complex or non-standard invoicing casesReconcile billing discrepancies and resolve customer billing issues promptly.Collaborate with internal teams including Finance Sales and Customer Service to ensure seamless billing processes.Develop and implement best practices to streamline billing procedures.Maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) client-specific billing instructions and training materialsTrain and mentor Billing Coordinator staff providing guidance and support as needed.Prepare and analyze billing reports and provide insights to management.Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to billing and financial reporting.Provide supporting documentation for auditorsExperience: Skills /Abilities & KnowledgeStrong billing experience in a multi-client or multinational environmentAttention to detail and a strong sense of ownership over invoice accuracyInterpersonal skills.Able to manage workload independently and act as a mentor to junior team members.Ability to communicate effectively face to face or in writing and able to adapt your communication style relevant to the level.Ability to motivate oneself other individuals (within the team and the wider K2 family) & the team.Effective organisation and delegation skills.Forward planning and strategic thinking with the ability to realize objectives into fruition.Commercial awareness.Ability and knowledge of mentoring to bring the best out in individuals.Knowledge of credit control.Knowledge of general accounting procedures.Ability to meet deadlines.Adaptable to change and works well under pressure.Training and EducationExperience in the complex billing environments with global operations.Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.Benefits 25 days annual leave increasing with years of serviceBirthday leaveEnhanced Maternity & Paternity payRemote working policyPrivate Medical Insurance after 1 years serviceDeath Inservice (x4 times salary)Electric Car schemeRole related BonusCompany Cash PlanGreat Place To Work BoilerplateAt the beginning of 2025 K2 was recertified globally as a Great Place To Work.Great Place To Work is the global authority on workplace culture.
