Business Development Manager – Embedded Systems - UK


An exciting opportunity has come available for a Product Partner/Business Development professional to join a leading embedded software development tools company based in the UK. This company has customers across the globe within a vast number of markets such as consumer, industrial, medical and automotive.


This role will focus on building a new revenue stream for the company. You will identify new partners and partnerships to exploit volume production technology, as well as assisting in the development and delivery of production technology.


Suitable candidates will ideally have 5 years of experience managing technical partners within software or technology industry. Ideally in an industry which is taking products to volume manufacturing. Experience and knowledge of companies developing embedded systems e.g. IoT, IIot, M2M would be highly preferable.


In this role you must be flexible to travel globally as and when required, have great enthusiasm and ability to communicate with global customers.


Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience within the software or semiconductor industries
  • Proven track record in sales of technology to volume production houses
  • Understand the methods to take products with embedded software to manufacture
  • Experience in identifying business opportunities and potential partners
  • Ability to maintain strong client relationships globally
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Willing to travel world-wide
