Our dedicated 20000 employees optimize the branch improve operational efficiency and maximize self-service availability for financial institutions and retailers across the globe.Job Title: Mechanical EngineerLocation: DundeeGrade: 11An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Engineer to join our Engineering department at NCR Atleos in Dundee.Responsibilities Lead electro/mechanical development activities providing estimates manufacturing options etc.Experience in electro/mechanical product design and working with tooling suppliers and parts manufacturers.Working with Industrial design functions to deliver designs as conceived and within the commercial goals.Proven track record delivering cost effective designs to specification and engineering standardsSupplier engagement and change managementLead design validation via design reviews stress analysis assembly tolerances testing and problem correction CLCARelease work products using the approved system with all relevant documentation required to implement your design changeExperienceA Degree in Electro/Mechanical Engineering (Hons 2:1 or better preferred).Minimum 7 years of related experienceStrong understanding of Electro/Mechanical design principles and technologies.Clearly understand documentation and the ability to work solely on problems as well as within a team environmentMust be willing to work to and set high work standards and be a good communicator.Highly proficient in CAD (Pro/E or Solidworks preferred)FMEA experience.Module/Platforming/Product architecturesAbility to work on several projects simultaneouslyWork with Suppliers throughout project lifecycle#LI-AG#LI-HybridOffers of employment are conditional upon passage of screening criteria applicable to the job.EEO StatementNCR Atleos is an equal-opportunity employer.
