Shorterm group are currently working with a precision engineering company who are looking for a quality inspector to slowly take over from their current retiring inspector. The company produce parts for a variety of industries creating a fast paced environment for a keen quality inspector to come in and ensure all quality standards are being met. Using manual inspection equipment in the inspection booth and shop floor(if larger components) Operating QTC CMM machine (Programming experience desirable) Experience dealing with customers is desirable Carrying out Fair's We are looking for the type of candidate that is keen to get stuck into a variety of different jobs whether it be in the inspection shop or out on the shop floor, someone who can problem solve and resolve issues, having technical conversations with customers and suppliers. Location: Leighton Buzzard Shift: Monday to Thursday 8am - 5pm Friday 8am - 2:30pm Pay: £32,000 - £35,000 per annum + 1.5x overtime when available.
